Prague [Czechia]

Pony Europe - Prague is where the Pony Prague Experience and the No problem! mentality were born.

When Michael and Matous took over as UICs in 2021/2022, finding enough umpires was a real challenge. Through organisation, communication and a non-negotiable No problem! mentality, they started building something special. The tournament became increasingly popular among umpires from Europe, and even Asia and the United States. In 2026, more than 70 (!!) umpires applied for just 35 places on the crew!

But the Pony Prague Experience is about more than being part of a great crew. Filling your toolkit — learning, sharing knowledge and helping each other grow — has become another important part of the journey. With John coordinating everything at the SaBaT ballpark, we're continuing to develop both on and off the field.

Our efforts haven't gone unnoticed. Jan Bagin, Director of PONY Europe, and Abe Key, President of PONY in the USA, recognised what we were building. Which led to four umpires from our crew being invited to officiate at PONY World Series tournaments in the USA.

And we're not stopping here! In 2027, we'll keep learning, improving and raising the bar. Collaboration and sharing best practices with the other four PONY Europe tournaments are are high on our wish list.

Because for us, it's not just about getting the job done. It's about how we do it, how we treat each other and what we take home with us.

Do you see yourself as part of our next Pony Prague Experience?
